Youth Work
At HHBC we want to offer something to engage all people. Our youth work is no different. From ages 5-18 we have something for everyone, whether its meeting at our building on Sussex Road, or outings and trips in the local area, we aim to provide our children and young people with a safe and fun environment.
We are linked with Urban Saints (www.urbansaints.org) so that we might join other local youth groups in “reaching out to children and young people with the good news of Jesus Christ.” During the summer, Urban Saints run a camp called Spree, over the course of a weekend at Great Walstead School. It’s always a time of great fun, and a chance to join with others in the area in worship and teaching as well as to use their excellent resources, support and activities.
We are 100% committed to the safety of the children and young people in our care, so all our groups are staffed by a committed team of volunteers, all of whom have CRB clearances.
Our aim is to provide a fun and enjoyable space for our children and young people, where they can enjoy time with each other, and time learning about how Jesus wants to be part of their lives.
