Charlie Harding Congregational Leader Charlie and his wife Sophie were married in 1992 in France, and have two boys. They joined the Harlands congregation in 2005, having moved into the Harlands area a few years previously. He is a Chartered Building Surveyor by profession and has lived in Sussex most of his life. Particular interests include Youthwork, Tennis, Cycling, and all things French! |
Dave Kirby Congregational Leader Dave was born and grew up in the West of Scotland and moved to the South East in 1997 when he joined HHBC. He and his wife Audrey live in Warninglid and his two grown up children are studying at University. He has been part of the Harlands congregation since it was formed and has been active in the music worship group there. He is the Operations Director of an insurance company and enjoys running, gardening, DIY and music in his spare time. |

Carol Smeeth Congregational Leader Carol moved to Ardingly from Kent in 1995 and soon began worshipping at HHBC. She was part of the team set aside to form the congregation at Harlands and worships there in the mornings and at Sussex Road in the evenings. She is single and a primary school teacher and has worked with the children and young people of this Church and her two previous Churches, in Kent and Surrey, for more years than she cares to admit. |
Rob Biersteker Congregational Leader Rob is married to Trudy and, with their two children, has been worshipping at Harlands since September 2007. Rob’s work involves creating training courses and in his spare time enjoys playing racket sports and walking, particularly in the Lake District! |
