Chatterbox

What is chatterbox?

Chatterbox is a weekly meeting place for parents and carers of children aged 0 - 5 years. We meet on a Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10.00am to 11.30am at Sussex Rd.

We provide a large selection of toys; such as ride-ons, play tunnels and houses, a toy kitchen with play food, as well as puzzles, toy animals, a wooden train set, dolls and books.

We have visit from a photographer each year and a Christmas party for the children.

What do we do at Chatterbox?

A wide variety of activities are avaliable at the start of each session. During this time there is also a craft activity on a Christian theme, which we encourage the adults to do with their children.

After 45 minutes we provide drinks and biscuits for the children and also for the adults. At the time we also celebrate the childrens' birthdays and share any news.

Following a further time of activities, we encourage the whole group to join together for a time of singing of nursery rhymes and Christian songs.

How much does it cost?

We ask for a weekly donation of 50p per family.

If you would like to join us or would like further information please email us at: chatterbox@haywardsheathbaptist.org.uk

We sometimes have a wailting list, if so we will be happy to add you to the list and contact you as soon as place becomes avaliable.
